My Top 8 Blog Post Types

1Orange Inspirational Post

You can write a post that inspires your tribe to want to take some kind of action such as starting a business, going on the long overdue vacation, saying yes to an offer, taking a risk , practice loving themselves more and many others.

2Orange Review Post

You can honestly review a product, a service, a great blog article, a movie playing in the theaters, a great experience. You can pretty much review anything that can add value to your tribe.

3Orange  Quote Post

You can put together a blog of quotes from your favorite mentors and the people you follow who inspire you.

4Orange List Post

These are a great resource.You can share a list of blog resources you use, a list of blogging tips that work for you.

5OrangeCase Study Post

You can analyze a blog post in detail and add  to the content of the post.

6OrangeHow To Post

You can use this to teach your tribe the step by step process for completing a task. For example  how to create a face book page, how to set up a wordpress site, how to install and de-install plugins on a wordpress site.

Note that, how to post are more  effective if images or videos are used and the steps written in chronological order.

7OrangeSeries Post

You can break a long post into a series of shorter posts which you can post over a period of time to keep the conversation going especially if it is about a very interesting topic.You can create a blog series to document a journey.

A checklist is defined as “a list of items required, things to be done, or points to be considered, used as a reminder”. You can use checklist in your posts to list the things your tribe should check before performing and action step to ensure that they are on the right track.

You can write you blog posts faster and with less effort if you plan well and have a list of blog post types that you can use.
