What are these six powers? The first time I learnt about my marvelous higher faculties was a couple of years ago while I was watching a Bob Proctor program and I asked myself why this was not taught in school.  You see, I was taught to go by what I saw, smelled, tasted, touched and heard, to live through my senses and not from that inner guidance where all the knowledge resides.

Growing up I always knew there was something more about me….always knew I could do so much better than I was doing but did not know how. So I started searching for answers which lead me on a journey of self-discovery and got introduced to my other self. I started asking questions such as who am I? What is it about me that wills me to keep on going in the face of adversity? Who is this voice inside of me, always nudging me to do the right thing? What is this feeling inside of me that is so calm and soothing?

As I became more aware of this power within me, I connected with it more and came to know that it was the Real Me. Yes, you and are I are spiritual beings living human experiences. Our bodies are just the house we live in. Everything that I have always wanted is within me…..not without.

To tap into the spiritual side, we use our higher faculties which are:

Perception, Will, Intuition, Memory, Reason and Imagination

The first power I will be discussing with you today is your Reasoning Faculty – Your ability to think.

Our reasoning faculty gives us the ability to THINK. This is what separates you and I from the rest of the animal kingdom….You can think about anything you want. You can think of and build beautiful images in your mind. You can do whatever you think. Isn’t that a beautiful idea? The question is….are you really thinking? Or are you just following the crowd?

What do you want? What excites you? It does not matter how big or small it is it. The only thing that matters is that you want it? What do you really want? Forget about the current state of your financial situation, forget what your results are telling you.Think ….let your mind go on a wonderful trip and see what you want in your mind’s eye…see that beautiful car, see that beautiful vacation, see the exotic resorts, see that confident and successful you, see that great business you are building, see all the lives you are impacting with your top notch products and services…see what no one else but you can see. See it …believe it …do it. You are the expression of a great power and you can do or be anything that you want. You can do ANYTHING but you have to think of how you can do it and totally eliminate the why you cannots and what ifs.

Think about what you want, build the ideas, plug it in to goals and take action.

Six Ways To Exercise Your reasoning faculty?

  1. Through study…study good books. There is a difference between reading and studying. When you study, the goal is to understand what your are reading and implement the ideas in your life to change an outcome.
  2. Spend time with positive like-minded people who already have what you want and can help you get there.
  3. Listen to and watch uplifting and motivational cds and dvds
  4. Spend time with yourself and listen.
  5. Write down positive affirmations for the things you want to manifest in your life and read them over and over.
  6. Here is an exercise in positive thinking that I learned from my mentor, the amazing Bob Proctor

Pick a project you are working on, or write you goal down on a sheet of paper. Title the project or goal in the space provided as shown below. There are two columns. The left side is all the reasons why you cannot do the project, this has been eliminated completely. The right side is all the reasons of how you will do it. So you will focus ONLY on finding ways of how you will accomplish the project or goal.
