An Affirmations Poem Just For You

affirmationI am a great believer in self-improvement and the use of Affirmation and  do my best to align with my core values every day.  I also believe we each live in our own UNIQUE worlds based on our beliefs.

For some, their world is so rich with love, joy, great health and wealth.

And for others, there is never a dull moment of pain, anger, blame, sickness and poverty.

Why is that?

It is because of the ideas we were taught when we were children and we carried them along into our adult lives without questioning the validity of them all.

For example one person was taught to be wary of people because they were always out to use and abuse them. Another person was taught to be open and accepting of others.

So we each live our lives based on the beliefs we inherited from our families, friends, authority figures in our lives and even acquaintances.

 What are beliefs?

Beliefs are simply the thoughts we think about, talk about and live by.

What beliefs do you live by?

Do they support you?

If not , let them go and reinvent yours.

Affirmations are a great tool to use to re-install new ideas about yourself when used with deliberate intent.

What Are Affirmations?

Affirmations are positive or negative statements which you tell yourself every day backed by strong emotion.

But guess what?

You are using affirmations ALL day every day whether your are aware or not.

Do you know that you could feel great the majority of the time, if you deliberately stopped in the middle of your daily conversations and thought about your words before you spoke them.

For example instead of saying that :

“My days sucks”

You re-worded the statement by saying

I am ware that things did not be turn out the way I had anticipated today but I know they will work out as always .

Do you see how softening the words could make you feel much better?

I love poetry and write lots of poems.

I believe there is a poet in everyone waiting to be birth.

If you will take a sheet of paper and play with your words, I reckon that you will be surprised at what you will CREATE.

Here is am affirmation poem I wrote:

Affirmations

I tell myself that my
Affirmations do not work
And then I ask myself why?
Rolling my eyes in a ball of wonder
Oh well I tried or did I?

I tell myself that my
Affirmations are great when I feel them
And then I ask myself why?
Blinking my eyes full of awe
I think I got this or do I?

I tell myself that my
Affirmations do not work
And then I ask myself why?
Oh my, I TELL MYSELF
I affirm why they don’t work
And then I see the evidence

I tell myself that my
Affirmations are great when I feel them
And then I ask myself why?
Oh my, I TELL MYSELF
I affirm why they do work
And then I see the evidence

Words are meaningless
Unless they are clothed and
Noursished with love
You gotta find the feeling place
For every word you utter

Emotions cannot be hacked
You create by default or
You create by deliberate intent
As the universe  responds NOT to your words
But by how you FEEL when you say the words

When your affirmations feel good
When you say them – they work
When your affirmations do NOT feel good
When you say them – they work
FEELING GOOD is the name of the game

Why don’t you join me and play this game for the heck of a fun? Have you Or are you currently using affirmations? Are they effective? Please leave a comment below.

To your success,
Imgard.
